Black books allow us to immerse ourselves in the resilience and wonderment of blackness both past and present. Give the gift of reading to local youth in the NYC shelter and public housing communities while also supporting black authors and a local black-owned bookstore, Sister's Uptown.

About the Event
With your support, we at The Good Neighbor Collective will be purchasing and distributing books by black authors to residents in NYC public housing units and homeless shelters.
There is no denying the power of representation in all facets of society. With this initiative, we aim to give access to diverse books to our diverse community.
